FORWARD
It is the intent of the Board to limit the Rules
and Regulations to the minimum for the mutual enjoyment
of the facilities of this Resort (Bukit Jalil Golf
and Country Resort) by all members and their guests.
The obligation of enforcing these Rules and Regulations
is placed in the hands of carefully selected and
trained employees of the Company to assure the Members
of such courtesies, comforts, privileges and services
which a member of a fine, private Resort is entitled.
IMPORTANT
For the benefit of all Members, it is the duty of
the Members to know the Rules and Regulation of
the Resort and to co-operate with the Company and
its employees in the enforcement hereof.
INTERPRETATION
In these Rules and Regulations the following words
and expression shall where the context so admits
be deemed to have the following meanings:
| `Board' |
means
the Board of Directors of the Company. |
| `Company' |
means
Berjaya Golf Resort Berhad and includes successors-in-title
and persons deriving title thereunder. |
`Licence Agreement' |
means the Licence Agreement made between a Member
and the Company conferring upon the Member the
Licence to enter use and enjoy the facilities
of the Resort. |
`Licence' |
the licence to enter use and enjoy the facilities
of the Resort granted to any category of Member. |
`Management' |
means the management staff of the Company or
such other body of persons to whom the Company
has delegated the management of the Resort. |
'Member' |
means any licensee who has been conferred the
Licence by the Company to, subject to the provisions
of the Licence Agreement and these Rules and
Regulations, enter use and enjoy the facilities
of the Resort. |
'Resort' |
means Bukit Jalil Golf & Country Resort. |
`Rules and Regulations' |
means the Rules and Regulations herein set out
and includes any amendment or modification thereto
and any new Rule and Regulations promulgated
and any bye-laws and regulations which the Company
may make at any time and from time to time. |
The
headings in this Rules and Regulations are for ease
of reference only and shall not be taken into account
in the construction or interpretation of the Rule
and Regulation to which they refer.
Words
of the masculine gender include the feminine and
neuter genders and words denoting natural persons
include corporations and firms and all such words
shall be construed interchangeably in that manner.Words
importing the singular meaning where the context
so admits include the plural meaning and vice versa.
