Main
Features :
Bukit Kiara is the premier
horse-riding club in the country with experienced
foreign and local instructors providing lessons
for competitions or just for the fun of it. The
equestrian centre is equipped with various facilities
- stables, a large indoor arena, a newly-built polo
field with its pavilion and more, easily making
it one of the best clubs around. The polo field
is designed with a state-of -the-art drainage system
and the use of a Bermuda hybrid grass known as Greenleas
Park, which dries within half an hour after heavy
rain. There are even horse trails winding through
the surrounding forest. More stables are being built
to cater to the increasing number of horses which
currently stands at more than 160.
Horse-owners
are allowed to keep their animals at the equestrian
centre for very reasonable livery charges, including
grooming, feeding and shelter. The riding school
offers riding lessons not only for novices but also
those with some experience. Members may choose to
learn with a leading groom, a trainee instructor
or an experienced instructor at varying fees.
The
indoor arena has hosted various equestrian competitions
as well as highly published events such as concerts,
product launches and weddings, and is a favourite
spot for corporations to hold their Family Day.
The arena is especially kind to horses' hooves due
to the use of a soil and soft rubber particles mixture.

Riding for the Disabled (RDA) programme, run by
volunteer members who are dedicated to helping special
children from Spastics centres .

rich and famous, Bukit Kiara Equestrian &
Country Resort has begun opening its door to
young and upcoming executives. The club has
more than 5,000 members. Membership is available
for the family, single person as well as children
of members and expatriates .
The
