RULES AND REGULATIONS

2. GOLF
   
2.1 IDENTIFICATION
 
(a) All Members while playing golf at the Club golf course shall display conspicuously an official golf identification tag of the Club.
(b) All guests while playing golf at the Club golf course shall display conspicuously the appropriate guest tag.
(c) Members and their guests must produce their identification tags and Handicap Cards/Course permit when requested to do so by an employee of the Company or any other person authorized by the Company.
   
2.2 OPERATING HOURS
2.2.1 The golf course and all other related facilities of the Club shall be opened from 7.30 a.m. to 7.30 p.m. daily unless otherwise determined by the Management from time to time.
2.2.2 The Management may at any time close the golf course or any part of the golf course for any reasons whatsoever.
2.2.3 The golf course is open daily from Mondays to Sunday.
   
2.3 ELIGIBILITY TO PLAY
2.3.1 Players must be familiar with the Royal and Ancient of St. Andrews or USGA Rules of Golf and Local Rules prior to play on the golf course.
2.3.2 Only BTGCC Club Members with a proficiency handicap shall be allowed to play on the golf course provided he is accompanied by handicap players.
2.3.3 Players without a valid Handicap, or whose handicap is above 24 (for men) and 36 (for ladies) shall not be entitled to play on the golf course strictly on weekends and public holidays, but may be allowed to do so if a course permit is issued to him by the Management.
2.3.4 Member's guests. A Member may introduce a maximum of up to seven (7) guests per occasion. Any larger group shall be considered a planned golf function.
2.3.5 Children below 12 years old are not allowed to play on the golf course on weekends and public holidays.
2.3.6 Children under the age of 18 years and with valid handicap must be accompanied by a parent with handicap.
2.3.7 Any golfer who is found not performing his basic golf skills and delaying the game will be disallowed to continue. In this case there will be no refund of any golfing fee whatsoever.
   
2.4 COURSE CONTROL
2.4.1 Commencement of play.
 
i. No play shall commence before 7.30 a.m. and until the player is registered with the Reception Counter.
ii. No play shall commence from any teeing ground other then the 15" tee-box,
unless otherwise determined by the Management from time to time. Each hole shall be played in a proper sequence.
iii. All players must be registered at least 10 minutes before teeing off at the Reception Counter.
iv. The Management reserves the right to close the course at anytime for any purpose.
v. Non-players are not allowed to accompany players on the golf course.
vi. Sharing of golf sets is not allowed on the golf course.
vii. Minimum 3 balls on weekends and public holidays.
viii. Play on the course shall be regulated by the use of sirens and all golfers are requested to follow the instructions given by the golf course marshal.
2.4.2 Official starting times. Play on any day may be regulated by the official starting time unless otherwise delayed due to the bad weather and/or any circumstance beyond the control of the Management.
2.4.3 Booking procedures
 
i. Booking of official starting time shall be opened to all players at least 7 days in advance (unless otherwise determined by the Management). All cancellation of booked time must be made at least 24 hours before the time of play, failing which a cancellation fee shall be imposed by the Management.
ii. Players must report to the starter ten (10) minutes before the official starting time failing which the booked time shall be made available to other players.
2.4.4 Non-playing Members or guests are not permitted to accompany playing Members on the golf course.
2.4.5 The Management may, from time to time, determine restrictions on the use of the golf course by non?handicap players.
   
2.5 GOLF ETIQUETTE
2.5.1 Use of golf buggies shall not be permitted in areas specified by the Management from time to time.
2.5.2 Divots must be replaced and ball marks on greens must be repaired by players at all times.
2.5.3 Employees or authorized persons of the Club may inspect the course periodically to avoid undue delay, slow play and carry out checks of identification tags and course permits. Players are required to assist and cooperate with such personnel.
   
2.6 DRIVING RANGE
2.6.1 Children below the age of 12 years are not allowed in the driving range area unless accompanied by a parent.
2.6.2 Driving range balls are charged for up to a minimum of 50 balls and a maximum of 200 balls at any one time.
2.6.3 Driving range balls shall not be used on the golf course, chipping green and practice putting green.
   
2.7 LESSONS
2.7.1 Only the Club Resident Golf Pro and his Assistant are authorized to give lessons.
2.7.2 Booking or Registration for lessons may be made directly with the Pro or his Assistant at the Golf Counter.
2.7.3 Lesson fees shall be charged and debited into Members' account. Cash payment to the Pro or his Assistant directly is prohibited.
   
2.8 DRESS CODE
2.8.1 Members and guests shall dress presentably and appropriately while on the golf course driving range and putting greens. Jeans, T-shirts without collar, floral pants, track suits jogging/tennis/squash and football shorts are not permitted.
2.8.2 Proper golf shoes are recommended on the golf course and driving range areas.
   
2.9 BUGGY
2.9.1 The Club's golf course is a buggy course and usage of buggy is mandatory.
2.9.2 Buggy shall be hired by all players on sharing basis. Each buggy shall be utilized by maximum of two (2) persons only. Rear passengers are strictly not permitted.
2.9.3 A player may not engage a buggy for more than two and a half (2 1/2) hours for 9 holes or not more than five (5) hours for 18 holes. For players who utilized more than the limited time period, a fee shall be charged accordingly.
2.9.4 Subject to availability, buggy may be rented at the prescribed rate on such terms and conditions as may be stipulated by the Management.
2.9.5 The Members using the buggy shall be responsible for all damages to the vehicle and cost of making good of the damages shall be borne by the user.
2.9.6 No booking of buggy is allowed and children under the age of 18 years old are prohibited to drive buggy.
2.9.7 Buggy must be collected from and returned to the Buggy Station immediately after use.
2.9.8 Buggies are strictly not allowed on the tee?boxes and greens unless otherwise specified by the Management.
   
2.10 GOLF BAG, EQUIPMENT AND VALUABLES
2.10.1 Neither the Company nor the Management shall be responsible or liable for the loss or damage to any articles or equipment.
   
2.11 GOLF INSURANCE COVERAGE
2.11.1 All golfers are requested to insure themselves against any liability, loss or damage and they shall indemnify the Club against all liabilities resulting from their actions.
